Eric Smith didn’t start out wanting to be a speaker or coach. Early in life, he was drawn to justice and service - dreaming of a future with the FBI and pursuing something that felt bigger than himself.

Life took a different path - into leadership, pastoral and non-profit work, and eventually onto international stages as a speaker and coach. That shift was not about changing careers. It was about choosing purpose over predictability, risk over comfort, and a life shaped by the conviction that people are capable of far more than they often believe.

Born and raised in Germany, Eric spent nearly 15 years living and working in the United States before making a life-changing decision to return to Europe. Along the way, he carried significant leadership responsibility in complex environments - navigating uncertainty, crisis, building teams from the ground up, and making decisions that carried real weight.

Through those years, the same questions kept returning: What does it mean to lead well? How do we live with clarity when everything feels uncertain? And what does it take to build a life we won’t regret? One lesson became clear - clarity is rarely found by moving faster or trying harder, but by slowing down long enough to see what truly matters.

For more than a decade, Eric has spoken to audiences ranging from intimate leadership settings to gatherings of thousands across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.
